My final collection for FIBR 190 - Color Lab! These 15 samples were all created using disperse dye, a technique that involves hand-painting with a watercolor-like dye on printer paper and heat-pressing that design onto 100% polyester fabric. I then added details by hand with a black gel pen. Over quarantine, I used Posca pens to fill an entire sketchbook with hand drawn patterns, and I was so excited to translate those same patterns off the page and onto fabric for my final collection!
